Working with three other landowners (Church Commissioners for England and Wales, the Southwell Diocese and British Gypsum) Catesby Estates since 2005, promoted the land for development.

Working with the Local Planning Authority the group secured planning consent in 2011 for up to 3,150 new homes, a new southern link road, associated infrastructure such as primary schools, a doctors surgery and sports facilities together with approximately 120 acres of employment uses (principally industrial and distribution).

The site is now being brought forward by our parent company Urban&Civic who are delivering serviced land parcels to housebuilders.

The land site is now known as Middlebeck, and once developed will have 3,150 homes, 2 primary schools, 2,040,000 sq.ft of employment floor space and a whole range of community facilities and public open space.
