Catesby Estates promoted the 6.5 acre strategic land site at Loxwood Road, Alfold Surrey for new homes and community facilities.

The development is in a sustainable location, delivering a number of benefits for Alfold village and the wider area with additional public open space and children’s play area.

Outline planning permission approved for new homes in 2017

In April 2017 Waverley Borough Council issued outline planning consent for up to 55 new homes, with 40% affordable housing in Alfold following a Joint Planning Committee’s resolution to grant permission in February 2016.  

In recommending the revised application for approval, Officers accepted that the Council could not demonstrate a five year supply of housing land, that the development would be sustainable and that it would deliver a series of benefits for the village and the wider area.

This followed the Council’s refusal of a larger scheme in 2015.  

Strategic land promoted and sold to Cala Homes in 2018

In February 2018, Catesby Estates successfully completed the sale of a residential development site in Alfold, Surrey to CALA Homes (South Home Counties) Ltd.
