Binhamy Retail Park Sold


Catesby Estates Disposes Of Retail Park To Focus On Key Strengths.

Catesby are pleased to announce they have sold for an undisclosed sum Binhamy Retail Park in Bude to Rose Securities.

The park was part of Catesby’s original larger land interest of 57 acres which was sold with outline residential planning permission to Bovis Homes in 2011.  Catesby  retained interest in 3.6 acres, constructing 43,256 sq.ft of out of town retail space.

The park adjoins a Lidl and Morrisons food store, and occupiers include B&M, Peacocks, Sue Ryder and Subway.

Commenting upon the sale Paul Brocklehurst, Chief Executive, said:  “The sale of Binhamy is in-line with our strategy for business growth.  We are focusing on our key strengths involving the delivery of residential planning consents on predominately greenfield sites, and ultimately the onward sale to housebuilders.”
