Catesby Estates are pleased to announce Wiltshire Council has granted outline planning permission for 65 new homes, along with detailed permission for 29 small employment units which will be available for rent or purchase by local businesses.
Both permissions for the site located in Longhedge, Salisbury were granted using delegated powers.
Extensive pre-application discussions were undertaken with both the Parish Council and Wiltshire Council. The application was led by Dawn Adams, Catesby Estates in-house Planning Manager, who oversaw the application for this sensitively designed scheme which included a policy requirement of 40% affordable housing along with pedestrian and cycle routes connecting the new homes with the proposed neighbourhood centre, existing village and wider area.
This is a extension to a 60 acre site for 450 homes and public open spaces that Catesby previously promoted and sold to Bovis Homes in 2014.
